Let's bring the kids into the kitchen to help them prepare some tasty things that they can pack in their lunchboxes! My son is always super proud of himself for making things himself, and I know your child will be, too. This class includes 2 recipes that are easy to make and can be customized to include their favorite ingredients: • Turkey (or chicken!) salad tea sandwiches with dried cherries • Veggie cream cheese roll-ups These recipes both hold up well in the fridge for several days and are perfect to pack in lunchboxes. Recipes like this are a nice way to alleviate some of the stress of that last-minute lunch packing scramble we all know too well. This class is recommended for ages 5 and up, with an adult in the kitchen to supervise and help out. I want to help your child learn to cook confidently in the kitchen, so having a grown-up in the room with them to help with anything that they aren't ready for yet (a hot stovetop, safely cutting ingredients, etc.) is very important. Feel free to either cook along with me or watch live and cook later. Kid-friendly printable recipe cards and a list of cookware/utensils will be provided upon signup.
