Calling all vegetarians and Indian food lovers! This soup is another favorite of mine. It’s a curried red lentil soup packed full of protein and delicious flavors. You don’t need much to accompany this main course soup, but homemade naan fits the bill perfectly. Not only is naan one of my favorite parts of any Indian meal, it’s also super fun to make – right over an open flame (you can use cast iron if you don’t have a gas burner). In this class, we’ll talk about making soups, cooking lentils and using Indian seasonings and flavors. We’ll also learn how to make one of the quickest and easiest homemade flat breads that can be enjoyed on its own, wrapped around sandwich fillings or even used as a base for pizza.
